Dear Mr. Deering,
Thank you so much for coming and talking to our school. You really inspired me to chase my dreams. Your speech was great. I always felt bad about being short. Everyone told me that I wouldn't be able to do anything in life. But, you inspired me to ignore the remarks and chase my dreams. My dream is to be a world renowned chef. Thank you for the speech and for telling me not to give up my dreams.

Dear Deering,
Your speech that you gave to us was great. It taught me a few things. One thing was that no matter what life throws, you can overcome it. I also learned that you can do what you want to do no matter who you are as long as you work hard. You should be kind to everyone because you don't know what's going on at their home. Being kind to others makes others feel better about themselves. I learned that you can overcome your fear if you face your fear. You have motivated me to do my best and also to work hard to succeed at everything I do. I'll do my best and I will remember your story.
