Although there is no cure for stuttering, there are several daily practices you can do if you stutter. Stop making yourself wrong. Be courageous. Speak as much as you can. Give yourself permission to stutter and be accepting of your stutter. Bill Deering realized that the only person that cared about his stutter was him. How many of you are stopped by your stutter? How many of you get embarassed? Remember to be accepting of yourself and stutter and others will be accepting.

For the last 10 years, Bill Deering has been living his life that stuttering gives him an advantage. What Bill has been able to do is to work in positions where the critical component is speaking even though he stutters. For the last 5 years, Bill speaks around the country for sales forces, associations, colleges & universities, high school's and junior high's and he still stutters. But he is not limited by his stutter.

For a few years, Bill Deering related to his stutter like he was renting it out. Then, someone he knew had him consider that stuttering gave him advantage. And he lives from that place now and is free. It's available for all of you too

Is Stuttering a problem? Stuttering is only a problem if you believe it is. If are conditioned to think you have a stuttering PROBLEM then that's what stuttering will be. For many years, Bill Deering related to stuttering as a problem until someone said to him "stuttering isn't a problem, stop saying it's a problem. Stuttering is just stuttering. Give up that it's a problem". For a short time, Bill Deering related to his stutter like he was renting it out. He said "It's not my stutter. Stuttering has been around a lot longer than me. I am renting it out until I am not".

Dear Mr. William Deering,
You were very inspirational. I was totally amazed by your story. You overcame every obstacle that stood in your way. It made me want to go out and face all of my obstacles. Also, it inspired me how all the odds were against you, but you still made your dreams come true. Even though you stuttered, you still became a speaker. I really want to become a doctor, but sometimes it seems I won't become one. Your speech and story really helped me to not think about the negatives, but the positives.
I can't thank you enough for coming to speak to my class. It really helped me and my friends.
Yours Truly,
Matt M.
